This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I greatly miss Japan. I think about her and the village I stayed in every single day. I am amazed how cutting-edge modern and ancient tradition can exist so well balanced as it does there. Was there anything that that totally ignited your passion for the place? Mine would be the mountains right next to the sea.
I completely agree with you. While there, I really experienced what it was to be in a community and just everyone know who you are and watch out for you. You do see the group mentality in full force in almost everything they do. I saw it in the classrooms and even in homes I visited. It's fascinating.
Well for me personally i always felt the perfect mix of old world traditions with new world dynamism was something i have never experienced in my entire travel. Of course like anything else, Japan too have its problems but knowing and learning that values of "others before self" is still practice in places such as Japan just warm my heart.
